Clean, Simple, And Fantastic

There is nothing better than a clean, simple, and fantastic sketch!  Creative Scrappers currently is hosting a sketch challenge that meets the above description.  What is even more exciting is the DT work!  Each one is so creative and inspiring - seriously!  I just might have to revisit this post several times.  Do yourself a favor and check it out.

Here is the sketch I am referring to and my layout:

Though hard to tell in this photo, the grouping of nine squares is matted on black cardstock with distressed edges.  Then placed on foam tabs and again on a black piece of cardstock.  In person, it adds just a little more interest to the page.  In addition, the little red dots are the insides of sequins.  I  put those little buggers in my little Xyron and carefully transferred them to the layout.  I am pleased with the outcome, however, while working with those little plastic circles a few choice words slipped.   Oops.

Seriously my friends, check out the DT work at Creative Scrappers!

Materials Used: cardstock, Bo Bunny - Hazel & Ruby Candy Apple Sequins, and Cricut/Cricut Font and stars.
