Sometimes, you just need to get messy. And... I did. My workspace is also quite the sight too!
I decided to go the mixed media route for the new challenge at Lasting Memories. The challenge is use glitter and glam! Hence - the mess. The result:
The mess includes gesso, modeling paste, ultra fine Flower Soft, color mist, ink, water, glitter glue, and glitter! (The jury is still out if I went overboard with the silver glitter.) Placing a few embellishments in the corner and altering letters and numbers to make a title complete the page.
I hope you can join us on this challenge - the links are due at the end of March!
Materials Used: DCWV papers, Bazzill cardstock, paper stencil, Liquitex gesso & modeling paste, Studio G glitter glue, Flower Soft - Ultra Fine Strawberry, Studio Calico/Mister Huey's Color Mist - Real Red, Prima Marketing - Say It in Crystals - pearls, Jolee's Boutique - dimensional sticker (crown), Thickers alphabets, silk flowers, silver glitter, and Stampin' Up Brilliant Blue ink.
So unusual to see your pages with the whole mixed media theme! Love how you have ripped the paper and added your layers but there is still the Wendy I know and love in the bright accents and cute girly photo's! xx
ReplyDeleteThis is a beautiful layout, Wendy! Love all of the mixed media, and you can never have too much glitter!
ReplyDeleteyou can never use enough glitter, besides it doesn't come across as super heavy with the silver.
